About Delena Zimmerman
I’m so happy you found me!
People who ask for help know when they need it. It is no mistake you found me at your searches’ end. It is true that everyone needs help now and then.
As a strengths-based therapist, I am here as a warm and compassionate partner to walk alongside you through some of life’s most difficult challenges.
You already have some strengths that you have used before, that for whatever reason isn’t working right now, and that is okay. Perhaps this problem feels overwhelming and is making it difficult to access your past strengths. In our work together, I will help you identify with those strengths again and teach you how to implement them in what is happening now.
I offer a safe, non-judgmental space to explore, process, and cope with past pain, present fears, and future uncertainties.
Whether you just need a listening ear, or are in the midst of severe crisis, I am here to support and guide you through the dark into the light. I draw from a variety of therapies including Cognitive Behavioral, Psychodynamic, and Humanistic.
I provide individual therapy to men and women, adolescents, couples, groups, and families. My approach is strength based, solution focused, and client driven. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, LMFT 110297 in Culver City, CA.
I am passionate about joining with individuals on their journey to growth, healing, and moving forward through life’s transitions in creative and life-affirming ways.
Whether you are experiencing the pain of addiction (personally or in relationship), the loss of a relationship, stuck your career and life direction, or struggling with past negative life events that still impact you.
I can help provide a safe and supportive space to guide you through the places where you feel stuck. See below to discover my areas of expertise.
